A 63 year old female presents with retrosternal chest pain that started 14 hours ago. She has a history of HTN, obesity, CHF and is a smoker. Her meds include lasix, aspirin, nitroglycerin and vasotec. Her EKG one month ago was normal sinus rhythm.
What does her EKG show?
Rate: 35-40
Rhythm: regular
Axis: left
PR: no p waves
QRS: wide
ST: ½ mm ST elevation II, III, AVF, ST depression V2-V4
EKG Diagnosis: Idioventricular rhythm, possible inferior wall MI

- Following coronary reperfusion
- Digitalis toxicity
- Occasionally normal
