Mission Statement
The Emergency Medicine Resident at St. Barnabas Hospital is dedicated to training highly competent, skilled, compassionate and culturally sensitive physicians in the heart of the Bronx. The Program is designed to provide the emergency medicine resident with the skills, knowledge, and experience required to become an outstanding and complete emergency physician. There is a strong commitment to academic excellence in teaching and research, and in training future leaders in the specialty of emergency medicine.
